Human ILDR2/Angulin-3 Gene, Full-length cDNA Clone in Lentivector, Endotoxin-free DNA
ILDR2 (immunoglobulin (Ig)-like domain containing receptor 2) or angulin-3 belongs to the LISCH7 family of the Ig superfamily (IgSF). ILDR2 is a single-pass type I transmembrane proteins with an extracellular domain containing an Ig-like V-type motif, a transmembrane domain (TM), and a cytoplasmic tail enriched with basic/acidic/polar residues. Similar to other family members ILDR1 and LSR, ILDR2 may be involved in the maintain of the epithelial barrier function through the recruitment of MARVELD2/tricellulin to tricellular tight junctions (tTJs). ILDR2 may be involved in ER stress pathways with effects on lipid homeostasis and insulin secretion. ILDR2 may also be Involved in negative regulation of T cell activation and function as a B7-like protein family member on immune cells and inflamed tissues with T-cell inhibitory activity.
Gene Symbol: ILDR2; Angulin-2; C1orf32
NCBI Gene ID: 387597
Uniprot Entry: Q71H61
Construct Details: Full length human ILDR2 gene (encoding UniProt #Q71H61-1) is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.
Vector Type: pLTC or pLTC-IRES-Marker (lentiviral expression vector containing a heterologous CMV promoter, see the vector map above)
Formulation: Supplied with 10 μg of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA at 200 ng/μl in sterile TE buffer (pH8.0)
Gene Insert Size: 1920 (bp)

Primers: Gene insert coding sequence can be confirmed by following primers:
(a) forward (or 5'-end) primer: 5’-CAAATGGGCGGTAGGCGTG-3’;
(b) reverse (or 3'-end) primer: 5’-CCAGGTTTCCGGGCCCTCAC-3’
Note: The sequence may vary due to the naturally occurring variants or mutations, such as single nucleotide polymorphism, or the artifact during PCR amplification. High fidelity PCR systems should always be used.
