Human HTR1F/5-HT1F/5HT6/MR77 Gene, Full-length cDNA Clone in Lentivector, Endotoxin-free DNA
HTR1F (5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 1F) belongs to the 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor subfamily of the 7-transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor 1 (GPCR1) family. HTR1F acts as a receptor for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a multifunctional neurotransmitter. HTR1F also functions as a receptor for ergot alkaloid derivatives, various anxiolytic and antidepressant drugs and other psychoactive substances. HTF1F acts as a receptor for lasmiditan, a drug for the treatment of acute migraine. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of downstream effectors. HTR1F regulates the release of serotonin and affects neural activity. HTR1F is involved in several neuropsychiatric disorders and therefore is often a target of antidepressant and other psychotherapeutic drugs.

Construct Details: Full length human HTR1F gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter and with or without a selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells. It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles. Multiple choices of a stable antibiotic selection marker are available.

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months.
