Description

TL1 (TNF ligand-related molecule 1) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily (TNFSF15). TL1/TNFSF15 is a single-pass type II transmebrane glycoprotein consisting of a 35 amino acid (aa) cytoplasmic domain, a transmembrane domain and a 195 aa extracellular domain (ECD). TL1/TNFSF15 may be released into the extracellular fluid, probably by cleavage form the cell surface.  TL1/TNFSF15 is abundantly expressed in endothelial cells, but is not expressed in either B or T cells. The expression of TL1/TNFSF15 is inducible by TNF and IL-1 alpha. TL1/TNFSF15 is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF25 and decoy receptor TNFRSF21/DR6. TL1/TNFSF15 can activate NF-kappaB and MAP kinases, and acts as an autocrine factor to induce apoptosis in endothelial cells. TL1/TNFSF15 is also found to inhibit endothelial cell proliferation, and thus may function as an angiogenesis inhibitor.

Construct Details: Full length human TL1/TNFSF15 gene is subcloned into the Lentiviral expression vector pLTC with an upstream CMV promoter -/+ an antibiotic selection marker, which can be used for both transient and stable expression in mammalian cells.  It can be co-transfected with the LentiPAK DNA mix (SKU# LP-001) into HEK293 cells to produce high titer lentiviral particles.

Formulation: Supplied with 10 μg of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA at 200 ng/μl in sterile TE buffer (pH8.0)

Storage

 

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon receipt, centrifuge the product briefly before opening the vial. It is recommended to store small aliquots at the temperature below –20°C for long-term storage and the product is stable for 6 months. 

 

 

 

 

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
